When developing the new Festool TI 15 cordless impact driver, we wanted it to do
much more than just be able to drive screws effortlessly. We wanted to
incorporate all of the amazing features that our customers have come to expect
from our range of cordless drills, such as brushless motor technology, the
ability to use the Centrotec interchangeable chuck system, great durability and
longevity, state of the art battery technology, and the Festool three year
warranty covering it all including the batteries.
What we ended up with was a hybrid impact driver / drill driver that can do
virtually everything and do it well. With the Festool TI 15 impact driver, you
can override the impact functionality allowing it to adapt to other
applications. Use it for drilling holes at a blistering 2,600 RPM, use the
optional right angle chuck to get into tight spaces, the optional offset
eccentric chuck for driving screws close to adjacent surfaces without marring,
or the optional depth stop chuck for consistently setting screws at a prescribed
depth.

The Festool TI 15 Impact Driver uses a sensor-controlled hammer mechanism which
increases the torque and thus transfers enormous power to the screw. Festool's
impact driver system works with a powerful tangential impact that results in no
recoil, making it gentle on your arm and wrist joint. The patented EC-TEC motor
and drive system is particularly energy efficient and yields the maximum
performance from every battery charge and has an extremely long life due to
minimal wear.
At the end of the day, what really matters is that you were able to drive an
amazing number of screws and bolts of any size off a single battery charge and
were able to get it all done with a truly multi-functional tool.
